After receiving both a Master's of Arts in English Literature and a Master's of Sciences in Education, Jason garnered a reputation in the educational community as a innovator, researching and designing cutting edge programs for secondary and higher education across the US. He designed an educational curriculum - The Master Writers' Program - which incorporated advanced teaching practices and emerging technologies whereby students were able to work with professors at universities throughout the US such as Harvard, Boston College, the University of Boston, Tufts, Georgetown, George Washington University, the University of San Francisco, the University of California at Berkeley and Stanford University. Under his supervision as its director, the program earned a $100,000 grant from the Edward E. Ford Foundation. He was also a regular speaker at the annual conventions for such as The Conference of College Composition and Communication, the National Association of Independent Schools in North America and the Florida Educational Technologies Conference. Jason left academics, but only briefly, to create a record label but soon returned to his roots when co-founding Six Finger Think Tank with legendary record promoter Tony Michaelides. Through his work with the SFTT, Jason began developing educational programs for universities around the world and today, he is the lead organizer of Six Finger Learning.

Dr Guy Morrow lecturers in music business, artist management and music theory at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He is also an artist manager who has worked with numerous artists including his current client Cuthbert & the Night Walkers. He started DCMS Records and MQ Productions at Macquarie University and has worked closely with many music business entities including Warner Music, ABC Music, Mushroom Music Publishing, the Harbour Agency, Rough Cut Music Publishing and MGM Distribution. His PhD concerned artist management practices and his current research analyses the dramatic changes that are impacting ‘content’ and media companies due to the development of new technologies. He has recently published articles concerning Radiohead’s post EMI career strategy and the operation of Australian music management and production companies Engine Room and Eleven Music. He is also a member of the US based Six Finger Think Tank through which he is involved in consulting work concerning the emergence of the new online music business as well as the further development of e-learning and m-learning in the education sector.

A native of Canada, Dr. Moore holds a PhD in musicology from the University of Liverpool, an organ performance degree from the Conservatoire de musique in Montreal, and an honors B.A. in English literature from Bishop’s University in Canada. Her specialist fields are varied: music business, genres in popular music, media/cultural trade politics, globalization strategy, 17th-century Italian music, and performance practice.
Catherine Moore has managed a record store in Liverpool, been a sales representative in the UK for Harmonia Mundi, was marketing manager for Nimbus Records at their Welsh headquarters, and then moved to New York City in 1988 to work for A&M Records as a marketing director.
In 1995, Catherine Moore began teaching a class at New York University called “The Environment of the Music Industry”. Becoming director of the NYU Music Business Program in 1997, she has gone on to teach eight additional classes in subjects ranging from “Production and A&R” to “Strategic Marketing”. She became director of the Music Business Graduate Program in 2005, and for the past five years has taught an NYU graduate class on “Global Music Management” in London. Julia Jones started her academic career within Sport Sciences in 1994, lecturing and developing sport psychology curriculum content for educational establishments in the UK. After gaining a BA (Hons) and MSc in Sport Sciences in London Julia started to focus on the use of music in sport psychology and performance. Her work led to coaching workshops with British Olympic training squads in 1998 and published research in the area of music, motivation and self-confidence.
After completing an MBA in 2000 Julia relocated to New York and launched an annual grass-roots promotional initiative entitled 'The BritBus Tour' which took emerging British music to music fans across America in a specially 'pimped-out' classic London double-decker bus. Julia has worked with numerous high-profile brands on music related projects including Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Megastore, Gibson, Epiphone, Land Rover, Atlantic Records, Maverick, BBC America, Capitol Records, Bass Ale, London Pride, Visit Britain, Fuse TV, XM Radio, Sirius Radio and Hard Rock Cafe.
Julia currently lectures music business part-time at Canterbury Christ Church University, is a consultant for music businesses including Gibson in London, and an artist manager. Matthew Walt - Executive in Residence,Six Finger Think Tank

Matthew Walt is a veteran agent, talent buyer, and tour producer with renowned boutique agency Pretty Polly Productions, and President of MW Global Arts, a music business consulting group serving artists, aspiring professionals, and organizations that incorporate music into their brand. He recently published his first book, Reality Check: A Common Sense Guide to Breaking into the Music Industry, and lectures on the topic at universities across the United States. Matthew resides in the Boston area with his wife & daughter and their boxer.
